We know all about F-Pace, the sporty crossover from Jaguar. Now it looks like they will follow up with a Range Rover sized vehicle, J-Pace. This looks like it will be an all aluminium car and hopefully it will be here in 2017. Can't wait!

I'm sure these new Jaguar SUVs will be good for JLR, but they leave me cold just like all other cars of that type.

Part of the reason why Jaguar's chassis achieve the magic they do is the centre of gravity is low. Ground clearance on my X300 is a tad over 4 inches, everything is kept low down. This helps the handling while still allowing a great ride. I'm sure no performance chassis experts in history has ever said "well perhaps if we make it all a bit taller it will go round corners better", that would be as bad as say "now if only you could make that part a little heavier..."

Interestingly the F-Pace is an Evoque with Jag design cues and interior. Which one will hold it's value & which one will do a Jag......

I love the F-Pace, but why would you buy one over an Evoque and lose a fortune........as for the J-Pace, well the FFRR is the best thing out there, now way will it be touched by a Jag. If so go buy the RR Sport.

Read that Jag only sold 4000 XJ's in U.S. last year, so are they chasing a market or finding one?

I expect sales of both cars to be huge over here. I'm already being asked regularly about the "Jagwar SUV".

Unrepentant, can you give me some insight into how a rebadged LR would stack up against the real deal....I think the F-Pace is a great addition to the Jag line up and will compliment the JLR market share, but a full sized Jag next to a RR with RRS running gear, peeps will surely go for that?

However if Callum has his way I'm sure it just won't be big enough inside to make the F-Pace proper contender, the XE is v cramoved in the back....

I don't believe it will be a re badged RR at all. It will obviously share some aspects but I would expect it to be very much a Jaguar. We haven't been told anything yet.

F-Pace is built on the XE/XF platform, nothing to do with the Evoque.
