F-Type 3.0 S active exhaust not fitted?
Discussion
Fuse 43 in the cabin does the same.
Fit one of these to make a remote switch:

- This will only work on 'S' cars which have the active exhaust as standard, or the none S with the active exhaust option.

If the valves are like the ones on the Vantages it is worth letting them operate every so often as they can seize in the open position. Not a problem if you never intend to use the quieter mode but can put some people off at resale time.
I'm currently trying to get a new OE DSC/AE switch to fit to the car in the standard position. Will post up part number when I have it.

You could make your own loom up though if you have some electrical knowledge.
I'm planning on making my own loom up, with an in-line fuse. I've been trying to work out which part of the system protects which component, and as far as I can tell the engine bay 5amp fuse is the switched circuit to the solenoid. The cabin fuse appears to be for the vacuum pump itself. As both need to be powered to provide the vacuum to close the valves. One issue that may occur if you make the in cab fuse switchable is the time it takes for the pump to create the vacuum? It may be better to use the engine bay fuse. Watch this space.
Remember to make up a negative feedback relay so the light on the switch comes on when you turn the circuit off.
I'm just going to make a remote switch to the engine bay fuse. That way I retain the default on function.
I imagine jag will want £200 or something daft for the switch, I enquires when I bought mine and they said they won't sell separately atm. Which is daft but they have to defend their £400 asking price for a fitted one on a fresh build.
