Ftype coupe...opinions on new sport design pack with spoiler

Has anyone seen an F-type in the flesh with the sport design pack with fixed rear spoiler.....how did it look?
Also has anyone seen the new Caldera Red colour or Ammonite grey in the flesh

I may be speccing Caldera as the replacement for my salsa R that I have at present, it is darker I am waiting on a proper metal sample from the dealer before making a decision. I am not sure about the rear spoiler I did see that and it is not too expensive either!!

Thanks for the reply Nomal......so is the Caldera Red a flat solid colour as i presume it would be to close to Italian Racing Red if it is metallic.......in two minds regarding the rear spoiler...would hope Jaguar put a bit of effort into its design....wouldn't want it to look like a halfords bolt on !!!

I've not seen Caldera but I doubt it will be a big departure from Salsa, it seemed quite a popular colour, not really sure why they have dropped after only two years tbh. I haven't seen the fixed spoiler either but must admit I much prefer the look of the coupe with the spoiler down rather than up, I think the fixed spoiler make spoil the lines.

Yes, Caldera is flat red gloss. My dealer described it as claret which will then be too dark for me and possibly very close to IRR. The trouble is they missed off an option on my current build and now cannot offer Salsa as it is finished from any future builds!!

Yes.

I quite like the fixed spoiler - seems to add a "beefiness" to the rear end (not that it was lacking before)

Fits in well and doesn't imo look like a bolt on aftermarket bit.


The new red - not so keen on it, the grey though is lovely. Infact the combo of spoiler & ammonite is one i've seen a couple of times.

If Caldera Red and Italian Racing Red are at all similar i think it is a bit off a mistake by Jaguar .....surely there was an opening there to introduce another real in your face colour..... to complement the Firesand option.

Difference between the Salsa. It's a flat red.
Ammonite looks fab in the flesh - the same as Gun metal grey.

Its still on the configurator - Salsa Red?

Isnt it a case of the guy whos already configured his car can no longer change to Salsa rather than new builds?

Salsa still on the configurator - advised it is still available. I've never been an enthusiast for the Italian Racing Red. Its just another soupy metallic red. Jag need and have always needed a bright non-metallic red.
