Folks,

I did a Jag heritage driving experience on saturday, drove the F-Type (V6, Supercharged) and a V12 E-Type (one of the last 50 made apparently). 12 and 5 laps round the track at the fen end site (the old prodrive site)

The F-Type was bloody brilliant.....The noise was amazing, if I had one of those I think I'd just drive it up and down the nearest A-Road just to listen to that exhaust... for any of you folks out there that own one.. you are very lucky people.

That is all, Cheers

(The E-Type was good too, I think that I'm just not a classic car kind of dude.)

You just need to try harder. Last Tuesday I had a great trackday in the XK150 which included CKL playing tag with modern AMV8V in it. If I'd have smiled any more the top of my head would have dropped off.

You are probably right... I think that the problem in the E-Type was that it just felt a bit 'wrong' to rag the bejesus out of it and push it hard. I'm sure the car was far more capable than I gave it credit for, but I was just a bit worryed about binning such a valuable machine.
