Anyone use an F Type V8S convertible as a daily driver?

I have been lucky enough to have a string of very nice daily drivers and am wondering what to replace my current C63 AMG coupe with when the lease ends. With my sensible head I think either a Mercedes E400 AMG coupe or BMW 640d Msport would be great, but I am also considering selling my TVRs (Chimaera and Tamora)and getting an F Type V8S to replace them and as a daily driver. I have had several test drives, on the road and track, of both the V6S and V8S and much prefer the V8 (reached 186mph roof down on the track!)

I would drive around 15k miles a year and need to be able to use the phone quite a bit, so would be interested to know how good you find it. Does anyone else use a V8S in the same way and if so how does it work for you? I would be looking at buying a secondhand, low mileage one. BTW fuel economy isn't too much of an issue - most of my daily drivers have struggled to better 20 mpg!

I don't think the phones going to be much use at 186mph with the top down .

Can't help with the F Type, but the hands free phone seems to work find with the the roof down in my XKR.

That's reassuring thanks, I had an early XKR and the phone was awful back then!
