My old E Type V12 Roadster
Discussion
Back in 1988 I sold my old lavender E type v12 roadster to buy a house. I know I know! But now I want it back . Can't find any sighting of it although it's currently Sorn and insured and was MOT d last year. Can anyone recall seeing it out there? I would live to find the old girl , lavender is a rather mauve/pale blue colour but never mind ! Currently registered XGC734M.
I have tried XKE data and the owners clubs, so his really down to someone knowing it l. Come on PH let's see the power of the Internet.

The DVLA are the principal authority with regard to car data - they know if it has been officially scrapped or whether it is still on the road. They also know the current location of the vehicle if it is still around, and who owns it, together with details of all of the previous owners. Sadly you don't have automatic access to any of this information. DVLA insist that you fill in a form and send it to them by post. www.gov.uk/request-information-from-dvla Also, you need to declare why you want to know the information. Typical reasons include tracing the owner of an abandoned vehicle, or someone who has driven off after an accident. If your interest is purely self interest or curiosity then you probably won't have much luck. I have applied to the DVLA a couple of times to find out legacy car information - I was unsuccessful on both occasions as I didn't have reasonable cause to request the information. Companies that can access vehicle information are car parking ticket companies, insurance companies and private investigation firms.

Thank you Bee Bee. I have tried the DVLA in the past and was aware of the limitations hence my hope that someone on here lives next door to it! I have been looking for about 8 years now and I remain surprised that it has not shown itself to anyone. Anyway, perhaps it will jog some body's memory. Thanks for the reply though , much appreciated.
