Hi everyone.
I'm thinking about upgrading my 2009 XF to HID Xenon headlights but have read so many differing reports on cheap/fake kits vs high quality and I also want plug and play but wondered if anyone can give recommendations.

Thanks.

Should have Xenon lights as standard? All XKs from 2006 onwards do...

Its not as simple as plug and play, unsure of the exact terminology but you will need things like a transformer for the 12v to 24v, the lights themselves you will need ballast / bulbs / ignitors / washers. I just sold a complete one with all the bits for just shy of £200 so not cheap even 2nd hand. Dread to think what dealer prices will be

I know, but I'd be surprised if your car doesn't have Xenons - I looked at XFs for a while last year and I don't remember seeing any without Xenons, I'd assumed they were standard equipment on XFs as well as XKs.

Pre-facelift halogens & xenons.

Facelift ones are all xenon.

O/P, you might want to come over to www.jaginfo.org a few on there have done the conversion.
