Infants in the back of XKR

Good morning all,

I know there are some threads on this topic and the general consensus is that it's a squash in the back even for little ones.(I have a daughter who is four and a son who is two)

I'm wondering though whether anybody has removed the rear seat back rests from the car which hopefully gives a few more inches to play with.

I haven't yet bought the car and a decisive factor will be whether I can fit the rascals in or not. I suppose I could just put them in the boot if all else fails..........
