XJ8 Bonnet Open switch (before I do something daft)

Evening,

As the title, I've bought a '98 XJ8 (with the revised chains and stuff).

Keeps pinging up saying the bonnet's open, and setting the alarm off.



Is this the little bugger?
If so am I right to take the plug off and complete the circuit with some wire? As a bodge until I can go down the scrappy this weekend.

I had another look, the white mounting thing had sheared off, so I taped the two copper prongs together as a workaround.

Case closed until I can get something strong enough to glue the plastic together.
