Hi folks, gotta get a Salisbury powerlock diff posted to me but any one out there know what it weighs? Just the diff and flanges ,no axle or calipers but I'd have to add a pallet, cheers , John.

When I refurbished the whole back end of my XJS cabriolet, I was able to lift the diff and output flanges fairly comfortably. I was in my 50's then and fairly fit, but had to keep it close to my body when carrying it around. Not very precise, but I would estimate over 100lbs (50Kg) but less than 150lbs. Make sure the vendor protects the breather tube on the rear cover from damage in transit (or Berlingo!!)

Panick over, got a friend to collect it from near Carlisle so no need to post it now, but hay Ho the breather elbow was snapped off, so it had rolled on it in its past life.
