Water getting into XK8

Speaking to my mum yesterday she's having a few problems with damp getting into her XK8

It's and early (circa 2001) fixed head, rear of the car is very damp and mould is appearing on the rear seat.

Just wondering if there are any know issues?

There are plenty of rust areas in the XK8/Rs

It sounds as if some of the seals are failing on the windows.
