Thanks for the replies. For some reason he wrote xj8 and 6 cylinders in the ad. Must be a typo I guess.
Sadly the xjr would be perfect however trying to acquire such vehicle out here is difficult. I was originally looking at a bentley turbo R but same reason, trying to get hold of one is very difficult.

The V6 is OK, but it's not effortless as a big Jaguar should be with only 240bhp and it needs the nuts revved off it to really make progress. The V6 engines also don't seem to be as robust as the V8. I'd hold out for a 4.2 V8 and even the 3.5V8 is quite a big improvement. Still better than the massively overrated 2.7 diesel though....
