hello some paint advice please

my super reliable xk8 convertible is showing signs of bubble around the lower areas of rear wheel arches usual places nothing major yet, will a body shop offer a smart repair and blend in or want to do the whole wing areas. we are now living in chichester west sussex and if any one knows of a cost effective body shop in the area many thanks all

if its just on the wheel arch and not to bad you could ask a local "chip repair" guy to give you a coat.
They seem to be able to so some pretty good stuff these days

If your car is steel-bodied then these bubbles are caused by rust, and it's coming from the inside out. So a "chips-away" or other sort of smart repair will be cosmetic only. That's perfectly OK if you're just tidying up the car for resale, but the bubbles will return (and fairly quickly).

It needs a proper repair.
