Hi all,

As noted several times over in this forum, the 18" Aruba Wheels on my '06 2.2D keep cracking - I've written 3 wheels off now.

Has anyone got any ideas for switching to 'better' alloys? Are there suitable aftermarket 18"s, or should I drop to (Jaguar) 17"s? (The car is so well-travelled (154k) that I'm no longer precious about keeping my Aruba's for 'value' sake!)

Jaguar had many of the X-Type wheels made by BBS. The Valencias as mentioned above are one such BBS manufactured alternative. They're tougher than Arubas but still suit the car unlike the vast majority of aftermarket wheels which look like the belong on a Max Power Corsa.
