Reversing camera on FType

Select reverse and a grey bar appears on the bottom of screen. Without moving, this turns into a wider bar.

I sent photo's to my dealer and got an email reply saying new camera on order and it will be replaced.

I was wondering if others had experienced this, what it is and what your dealer said.

I thought maybe moisture in lens, but don't understand why the grey area would expand.
