Jaguar F Type Bonnet
Discussion
My XF needs a really good slam to shut the bonnet. Got to say much prefer the gentle close. I remember once leaving the distributor cap on the battery when I closed the bonnet by slamming it. Oops. After that I always lowered it gently and then pushed it shut. The jag needs slamming.
Not just me and my OH then!
I found it quite embarrassing, having shown someone what lies beneath the bonnet, to find I could not close it. After my other half failed 1st attempt, we eventually sorted it. If you look from the front of the car, for us its the right hand catch that doesn't seem to hold without considerable force.
Going in for adjustment tomorrow.
