That's very tidy. Looks new....are you sure that's not a Suffolk Jaguars replica?

Suffolk fit dummy Andre Hartford shocks which hide the XJ6 coil overs quite effectively, so from the photo angles provided I wouldn't like to call it either way. Pity that there is no under bonnet shot - the XK6 engine is a bit of a give away.

It's a Suffolk with a 4.2-litre XK engine.

Although you can't quite see the XJ6 lower wishbones, there are other giveaways:
Smaller headlamps (I prefer them), MWS wheels (more spokes than originals and chrome - eugh!), slight panel differences, no advance/retard on the steering wheel boss, bulge in left side engine cover to clear alternator.

Ah...we must converse more. I am the owner of an XJ6 of many parts, mostly spread all over my garage. I have delusions of turning into something better - XKSS or SS100. I hope to get down to Suffolk next month to see for myself, but in the meantime any real life experience you care to share would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM me if you want it to remain private.

Roy, what is it reasonable to think you could get into a Suffolk SS100 for?
