Whistling at high speed in XJ8

Anyone else get a loud whistling noise when doing 75mph plus in an XJ8?

I occasionally get it and can't figure out why. Had it checked by dealers before but they could'nt find the problem.

Maybe a design fault?

I thought the speed limit was 70. Never tried mine as fast as 75 - Thats outragous

what year is it? 1991 XJS with wind noise from 60odd mph upwards so is it common?

One xjs specialist who i visited had a customer come in seeking a fix to 'wind noise at 140mph'

It's a 1998 XJ8.

Someone told me that the windows frames are adjustable, so will try that fax.
