towing with the xjs

i have a folding camper which we use throughout the summer which i tow with a picasso..it weighs about 1000kgs fully laden. Can anyone tell me if i could get away with towing it with the xjs and if anyone has any experience of this. i dont want to run three cars really for obvoius reasons
