Hi all,

Just had a day trip to Racing Green Performance today and all can say I WOW, what a place. Abolutely awesome, fantastic cars, fantastic people, I can recommend them hands down. Had a drive in the Arden XKR demo car, and it's amazing, so differnet to a standard XKR it's unbelievable, so my hard earned cash will be going their way from now on

And I'd just like to say a big thankyou to Chas Whitaker at Racing Green for showing me around and explaining all the aspects of their upgrades, and a bit of history of some of their fabulous classic cars.

Thanks Chas.

Haven't ordered anything YET!

I think first I'm going to do the suspension and steering. Uprated Bilstien shocks and springs (lowers the car 25mm) Widen the wheel track and stiffen up the steering.

The demo car had this all done (except the shocks)and the difference in feel on the road was incredible. Very positive feel, you knew exactly what the car was doing on the road. Steering was a joy it went where you pointed it and gave great feedback which really increased confidence especially on the windy roads.

Then if I can fund brakes at the same time it's a Tar-Ox 10 pot front caliper with 380mm disc and 6 pot rear (Not sure on disc size)upgrade, these two upgrades alone will totally transform an XKR, it drives so differnet from the standard car. And both should also make it a very compotent track car too.

So thats the plan at the moment which should be done by the new year, then it's save up for power increase and bodywork.
