XK8 / R gears

Can anyone tell me if Jag did thes XK cars with manual gearboxes, or if not, is there a company to convert them?

No manual gears. They all use a Merc auto box. The Racelogic speedshift button system available from Racing Green is actually very good. Has sharp changes and a lot like a modern paddle-shift, but a bit expensive.

Mind you a lot less expensive than finding a company that will bespoke a manual gearbox to fit.
