I was chatting to my old boss recently and he was going on about a Jag he was looking to buy. It was an XKR, but the limited edition one with silly amounts of power, bigger wheels and all that sort of thing.

There's not many around and get snapped up as soon as they go on sale etc etc.

What is the name of it? Does anyone have a picture?

Doesn't ring a bell, but I have a look around for some pictures. I've only ever seen one once. I thought it was a DB7 when it went past me, but I had a closer look and it was an XK.

I thought it had some number in the decription (e.g. XKR 1000) but I might be wrong.....

From a poor lowly XK8 owner...

...that does indeed sound like a 'Silverstone' special edition XKR

Did it have massive wheels with just a few skinny spokes? Was it Silver?

I've checked out some pictures, it must have either been the Silverstone

or maybe the XKR-R...

I would be happy with either!!
