Recommended Jag specialist near Banbury?

Hello peeps,

A friend's dad has a nice V8 petrol S-type which has developed a cooling issue, possibly water pump related.

Can anyone recommend a Jag specialist in or near Banbury where he should take it?

Over 80 miles away from Banbury though, which doesn't help if the car's not feeling well.

You'd think living in the centre of the country there would be a Jag specialist near Banbury!

There used to be a place in High Wycombe called 'all things jaguar' and they moved to somewhere near Thame. Try googling them.
i used to bump into the two mechanics who owned it, at my local MOT centre and they had a good reputation i seem to recall.

My brother uses this Jaguar specialist in Thame for his XJR and speaks highly of them - must be the one mentioned in a previous post

Thread resurrection - I've just bought an XJ8 , looking for a jag specialist near brackley/Banbury - did the OP find anywhere decent in the end ?

Afraid not; they just used a non-Jag place in the end. Fortunately it turned out to be just a very simple fix with a faulty bleed plug on top of the engine.

I hope you find somewhere though!

Thought I'd bring this thread back - curious if there is a good shop in the area that might help out (restore?) a '57 XK150? Without 'selling the farm'?

Plenty of Restoration Garages scattered around Newport Pagnell , try Michael at the Lone Pine Garage Warrington .
