The XKR did the VMAX run at Bruntingthorpe yesterday. Great fun doing huge oversteers onto the runway - although I did get one wrong that transformed into a Clarkson-esque 360 degree donut (video to follow ).

With the speedo reading *just* under 170mph the XKR was clocked at a 'true' 159mph by both my GPS and the official timing lights.

Shame about the brakes though. They are truely bad. Not only pathetic at stopping the car, but also after just two or three consecutive runs the brake fluid boiled and leaked out from behind the driver-side wheel arch (at least it felt/smelt like brake fluid). Definately the next upgrade will be the brakes.

Also lost a little water from the radiator (warning light came on) despite the temp guage not rising above normal all day. Only required < 250ml to top it up. This has made me think that the apparent brake fluid leakage *might* have actually been coolant - just it didn't seem like the correct fluid.

Anyone know where the overflow pipe for the radiator and/or brake fluid are routed? Which one is at the rear of the driver-side wheel arch?
