Any thoughts on depreciation over a years ownership?

As I see it, the XKR-S is not limited in numbers, but like the 4.2 XKR-S & XKR75 it will be the more desirable car on the pre-owned market, so should retain a wee bit more of it's value over a standard XKR, but you won't carry the £20k premium it has through your ownership I don't expect.

Seems to be you retain only 45% value over 3 years on modern Jags, £30k in 12 months I wouldn't have thought is far off.

I just bought a 3 year old ,10k miler XKR for under half new price. I would expect the XKR to be similar but slightly less hurty if they make less numbers of them.

I guess it depends on how many they plan to make, it might be that the XKR-75 gives you a good guide model.
