F Pace SVR Tyres
Discussion
I took a pair of Dunlops with 5mm tread left off the rear of an X351 soot chucker after the 2nd time the arse slid all over the road at walking speed. I suspect they’re part of the reason these cars got a reputation.
That said I still need to be very cautious on the SC7 in the XKR until they get some heat in them.

I've swapped my standard Pirellis P Zero's for Michelin PS4S but also have a set of Pirelli Scorpion All Seasons for the winter, though I've not put them on the SVR this winter as I'm not driving it much and we've a Freelander 2 fitted with Michelin CrossClimate 2's.
I think in general people give the PS4's good feedback for cold weather but I don't think they'd be as good as a good all season/winter tyre.
I had the PS4s fitted to the SVR about three weeks but was told just days before our trip that the weather had changed and it was -5 and snowing. I wanted full winters but no-one had any in stock, so had to go with all seasons, Pirelli as I don't think Michelin do the CrossClimates in the right size for the SVR on 22's.
Personally, I wouldn't want to drive any summer tyre, even the PS4s, below 3 deg C.
Also, check out the Tyre Review YouTube channel as well as he does quite a bit of testing, like this: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S vs Pilot Sport AllSeason 4 vs CrossClimate 2 vs X-Ice Snow https://youtu.be/421HkK4Nqss

What size are the Scorpions?
Autodoc and mytyres have a better range of winters in very wide and low profile sizes than the usual UK suppliers but still few or no all seasons.
In the UK I think All Seasons are a better winter fit than straight up winters.
Agree that any summer performance tyre on a powerful car can get a bit dicey below 3C though.

I was really pushed for time, I got the weather news on Monday and we were leaving Thursday. Given more time I'd have gone for winters. Agree All Season are probably best for the UK, but we travel to France a lot and often around Xmas time and it can get much colder, as low as -10 a few years ago, but -5 is quite common where we are. Proper snow and we're in the middle of nowhere so a lot of the minor roads aren't gritted.
Despite flirting with the Michelin option I went for a new set of PZ4 Pirelli P Zero on my SVR.
Very pleased with them, one of the major benefits over the Michelin is that they are quieter, about 3db or so quieter thanks to the sound insulating rings inside the tyre. Still perform well too, this is the OEM version of the Tyre.
The Michelins I had struggles obtaining anyway, would have potentially ended up with different front and rear Michelin models if sticking to the OEM sizes.
Can't comment on winters or all seasons as only go for the summers.

I think I complained previously about wear on the PZ4 on my XJ but I've actually done 9,000 miles on them and they are no more than half worn so they can't be that bad. 3dB quieter is half the volume, you'll really notice that.Very pleased with them, one of the major benefits over the Michelin is that they are quieter, about 3db or so quieter thanks to the sound insulating rings inside the tyre. If that sound reducing ring is a layer of foam on the inside, then that’s what I had on my factory fitted Q7 tyres and punctures can’t be repaired. That meant 2 small nails cost my £1200 in the somewhat early replacement of all 4 tyres :-(Very pleased with them, one of the major benefits over the Michelin is that they are quieter, about 3db or so quieter thanks to the sound insulating rings inside the tyre. My F-Pace SVR is about to need new boots. All four tyres are down to 2mm, but with 22,000 miles on the OEM tyres, I'm pretty impressed.
Happy to replaced like-for-like given the above, and not interested in all-season nor winters (never had an issue in any car round here - semi-rural-cheshire, not the highlands).
What are people latest consensus on best options?
TIA...etc.
