Mine was pretty accurate, if by that you mean was it square and aligned, isn't yours?

Its fine corner to corner but the lower engine mounting bolt is about 3mm out of line,no visible sign of damage to the tubing.

Not sure I can add much to your dilemma. But I have just had an SR4 chassis that came spare with the car mended by Radical. It had a front corner shunt (unusually not done by me!) and looked like it needed a couple of tubes replaced. When I took it to Radical and they put it on the jig, the forces had been transmitted further than was apparent and more needed to be cut out and replaced.

Anyway the point is that if yours has had a shunt which isn't apparent, you could be looking at the resultant damage.

I can certainly see why changing the chassis after any kind of impact (not that I'd know anything about that) is better than trying to fix the bent one!

The engine mounting bar that secures the cradle to the chassis when pushed through without the cradle in place will not line up , it looks like the o/s is high`by 3mm but still in line. I dont have much information on this car other than it started life with into racing in 2002 was damaged and had a new chassis fited in 2004 and was then sold to a James Larkham in Belfast, can anyboby shed any light on its history any info would be greatly appreciated.

i know jim and raced with him a while back but dont think he ever crashed it while he owned it.
may have been damaged before he got it, but i know he had the engine in and out a few times over the years.

If you can convince it to fit and all the rest of the suspension points line up then I would say you have no problem. Why not call Radical and ask them?
