Quaiffe Chain Reversing Diff!!
Discussion
My reversing has managed to lock itself solid in both directions and looking for some insight. Had assumed the diffs would have been pretty reliable.
Any known issues with the Quaiffe chain reversing diffs??
Any idea on the costs/process for getting one refurbed??
Should I just replace with lighter non-reverse??
Is this the same as the Radical supplied non-reverse diff - http://www.quaife.co.uk/shop/products/qdf7zr
Cheers

I had my SR4 diff rebuilt some time ago by Quaife, and from memory it was around £1500.
Depending on the age of the diff, later ones had some strengthened internal
bolts which I had mine upgraded to as part of the rebuild.
If you ever want to race your radical then you have to be able to reverse so that rules out the forward
only diff.

Apologies for bumping an old thread, but I have exactly the same question as the OP.
The reversing diff in my SR4 has just disintegrated (early 4 pinion type). I only do speed events so don't need reverse and was wondering if the Quaife QDF7ZR is the same as the non-reverse diff that Radical sell?
