Just wondering if standard style alignment gauges are suitable for Radicals (clubsport), looking at something along the lines of this:-

http://www.pvrdirect.co.uk/productinfo.aspx?tier1=...

Don't want to get something only to find that radicals are awkward (that'd be a turn up for the books eh?)

It's a proper hassle getting the car to a suitable garage during the opening hours and it's not exactly cheap, that's if they do the job right anyway!

Plan is to get something like this plus camber gauges, any thoughts?

Cheers,

Dunc.

What's wrong with two lengths of steel tube and some string/fishing wire and a ruler!!

That's what I've been doing up till now, thought I'd go for a gauge but maybe not if you seasoned racers are happy enough using that technique as well smile

I could be wrong but I thought all race cars were set up that way.

I'm with JP after having wasted £450 on a set of dunlop gauges that couldn't see through the towing eye I went back to the above method & worked ok for me last year.

A complete irrelevance, but that's got me thinking, which method is actually more accurate and why?
