Did you make a couple of typos with those sizes?
I.e. Radical Dunlops for 8" fronts and 10" rears are 190/535/13 and 230/570/13. From memory, the only 250s rears I've come across are Avons?
I'll have to check when you clarify; I may be able to help.
Definately sizes quoted and Dunlop, probably ex F3 throwaways?Did you make a couple of typos with those sizes?

The set of sprint/hillclimb tyres that came with the car are the sizes you've stated,
so i'm more than happy to go with those sizes for track.
Thanks

Let me know what you've got please.
Also, the wets that came with the car are Avons - marked 'FF ZETEC' 6.0/21.0x13 fronts & 7.0/22-0x13
Are these appropriate or do i need the specified Radical set, anyone have any?
I'm sure i'll get there eventually!
Just to muddy the waters even more Steve, the designation of the slicks you're after suggests radials, whereas the Zetec wets are cross-plies - the same as used on Clubsports in the early days. The former will generally need more camber than the latter.
I'm not sure about the SR4's but early Clubsports and Prosports had 'long' upper wishbones for a moderate amount of camber (approx 0 - 2 deg), for use with the cross-ply Avons, but when Radical went with Matador and then Dunlop radials, they made the 'high-camber' ('short') upper wishbones to get more camber (approx 2 - 4 deg).
Does that make sense?

Likely not a big problem as Radials were standard when the SR4 came out in 2003/4. That said, camber and toe best checked as someone has obviously previously 'experimented'; hillclimbers aside with their super-sticky Avon compounds, heavens know why I'm not sure about the SR4's but early Clubsports and Prosports had 'long' upper wishbones for a moderate amount of camber (approx 0 - 2 deg), for use with the cross-ply Avons, but when Radical went with Matador and then Dunlop radials, they made the 'high-camber' ('short') upper wishbones to get more camber (approx 2 - 4 deg).

Done 1 race wkd and one test day.
At the pace you were carrying latter part of last season, virtually fecked then? Elf, 'no sweat'; just tickling Mark (but his pace was great); if he says they're OK for TD Use, they will be, you can rely on it.

I will have a set of used race Dunlops to fit your SR4 after March 26th.
Note that there is some confusion over the size marked on the tyre and the actual measured size with certain Avons. Talk to David in BMTR racing department on 0121 331 1122 who will explain all and answer your questions about compounds.
