PR6 Chain Tensioning.
Discussion
Hi Guys,
After having changed the rear sprocket on my PR6,I re-aligned & reset the chain tension with the two tensioner bolts until it was right, but when it comes to "nipping up " the two lower bolts at the bottom of the diff plates and the top two pivot bolts, the chain goes too tight, am I doing someting in the wrong order?????,
Many Thanks,
Doug Carter.

It is customary to acknowledge pre-offered help from the previous thread before moving onto the next ask, however.....
The following works for me-
Make sure all is in line & tensioned with the rear adjuster bolts.
Then whilst having the top two 19mm bolts loose, have your 24mm socket & ratchet at the ready in one hand, with the other push down hard in the centre of the top of the chain run, continue to hold that down whilst you nip up both of the 24mm lower bolts as hard as you can. You should find that then the chain tension has stayed the same as you had set, then continue to do up the rest with a final tweek on the two rear adjusters, not too much though as they are capable of pulling the chain tighter without undoing the other bolts if you go mental on it!

No worries, its much easier when someone lets you in on these little tips rather than having to work them out for yourself.
Shouldn't cost you much for buying me beer's as I'm having a year off Radical's so doubt I'll be about at any events, may be back next year though, refreshed & ready for action again.....
