Racing a road legal Radical

As a prospective Radical owner, I've been looking through the list of used cars available and found some particularly appealing "road legal" versions. I only want a car for racing and it's suddenly occurred to me that maybe it's not ideal to do a permanent conversion the other way (i.e road legal to race-only)or whether road-use has any long term effect on racing setup. I'm not super mechanically-bright so I'd really appreciate any comments on this and apologies in advance if there has been a thread started already (I couldn't find one !). Cheers.

Suggest talk to Simon or Ben in parts dept at Radical.....they will know what bits you need, what bits to take off ( manke sure you comply with racing regs ) and any other advice.
