Need to mould a seat insert to improve the seating in my SR4.

Thinking of leaving the seat in and then making a moulded insert using a polybead - resin / vacuum system but not sure which size kit I need - anyone done similar - if so which size kit should I be looking for.

I've done that in the past with the clubsport. I used the two part foam and bin bag approach. Need somewhere warm to do it this time of year though.

If you are making just an insert, I think you'll find the bead kits expensive as they are big enough to make full seats.

I know it's a seat for a 7, but Steve's advice is based on my experience of making loads of them!

It's a pretty simple job. One thing on the tank-taping. MAke sure you have the overlaps like tiles on a roof. So when you are sliding in to the seat, you don't pull the tape off (if that makes sense)!
