Red SR3 for sale in PH classifieds - thoughts?

Hi guys,

There's a red 2002 SR3 for sale in the classifieds here:

Looks like a decent spec with some aero upgrades, etc. What do people think of it, is it priced right, any knowledge about the life it's had?

Don't think I've ever actually seen the car in the flesh, but I've met it's trackdaying only owner Dario T on a number of occassions - genuinely nice guy and from what I've seen, very particular about his toys.

I doubt there's much wrong with it and aside from not being that sort of chap, I doubt he'd sell you a pup - Radical Owners are amongst his Onboard Vision Camera business and if he did, he'd never hear the end of it!

Worth a look I'd say. There aren't many prices that aren't negotiable, especially if you factor in an RS3 Trailer which is ideal for a Radical.

I'm finding it difficult to find a metric; is £17k the sort of money that an SR3 of that spec should change hands at?

It doesn't look miles off in price terms. One big factor is the engine. How close is it to a refresh?

As I understand it, approx half the life is left in the engine before a refresh is needed.
