I'm planning on some 'unbreakable' drive shafts for my clubsport but can't measure the short one, because I broke it. Anyone happen to know or able to measure the length?

Any recommdendations of suppliers equally welcome.

Thanks in anticipation.

I could measure my spare set if you need the dimensions?

That would be great. I can get the spline related dims off the intact end of my broken one it's just the overall length I need.

Cheers

Sorry for the delay.

Short drive shaft (just the shaft, no CVs) is 365mm long.

Distance between circlip grooves is 310mm.

Cheers Martin. Much appreciated.

Are you still running standard ones. How are they surviving?

Still running standard ones and don't really anticipate any issues as 1st and 2nd gear traction isn't brilliant and is more likely when they will break. Have had a really crap year, spent more hours on the rolling road than on the track! Haven't done a race either but think I have now got to the bottom of the issues which were mainly electrical, but generally resulted in holed pistons and needing replacement barrels (note plural here rolleyes). I have driven it enough with the proper engine to realise it is definately the right way to go even if it is a lot of work and hassle. Just going to get it sorted for next year now.
