Today's and final stupid SR3 Question

If you put the detent back in, disconnect the cable and screw a 10mm bolt in can you move the shaft in and out with a pair of molegrips? might be that the cable is too far out of adjustment...

Like It ............ make it really sweat, then surprise the b'stard with a reet flurry of hard punches when it was hoping for a spray of cold water.

They call it the Birmingham Screwdriver Regulo 9 Version round these here parts.

I guess they put it there for a reason and it would make quite a mess if the gears even started to disengage when at 5th at 10000 rpm
