We have had a vibration on our SR3, the cause of which has been very difficult to pin down. However I noticed today that one of the fingers on the engine side of the metal element of the cush drive (coupling) was cracked and the finger was bent up by about 1/8th inch. I think that almost certainly this is what has been causing the vibration which gets worse the faster you go.

So, we have got to change the coupling on the engine (bike gearbox) side of the drive. Can this be done without removing engine or transfer gearbox/diff assembly, eg by moving the engine sideways on its mount, or will the transfer box/diff asembly have to come out? Also, how is the coupling attached to the output shaft from the Busa gearbox?

We would be most grateful if one of the pundits on this forum could point us in the right direction. Incidently, is the coupling a specifically Radical part or can it be obtained elsewhere?
