That's what I bought but on changing i noticed that NGK CR9EB were fitted - just wondering what difference a "B" makes.

CR9E comes without a plug at the top of the spark plug. CR9EB comes with a permanent plug at the top of the spark plug.

Angus is right > whilst both are exactly the same operating temperature spec, 9E has a 'loose' screw on top, whereas on 9EB, it's permanently fixed; get the latter if possible; there's a lot of vibration in the back of a Radical and the tops of 9Es have been known to come loose and cause misfiring. If it goes onto three cylinders, that's the first thing to check, then the leads, especially if they are the wobbly old 'pontefract cake' type plug caps. If you've got those, money well spent to replace those with a set of proper Magnecor leads which have properly stabilised long plug caps (and a folding pull to pull them off at exactly the correct angle)

CR9EIX is the code for the hot (about 3 quid extra a pop) iridium plugs.

Worth at least an extra 1000bhp (with ram effect) on Ted's dyno. smile

Recommend CR9EB then another 2 brand new sets in your spares box for when the damn thing won't start.

Then try to make sure you've some ROC pals around who will lend you another warmed up set when you've got through the first 12 and you're about to abandon ship / set fire to your so-called pride and joy.

Speaking from experience and all that.

Good news is they're cheap, less than £20/set IIRC.
