When I had my clubsport I used just normal grease or I should say what ever was in the grease gun, I don't think you need to change it just take one of the cap heads out put a grease nipple and add some, the diff is a quaife unit out of a ford it was designed for road miles so should be good for ever. Yes exhaust can come off while motor is in chassis not much room to un do the header bolts though.

Definitely one of those must have lube/freeing up items on that 'everyone should carry some' list > WD40, PlusGas, Copper Grease, 3 in 1, Castrol LM (or equivalent).

I have a Radical SR4 with a non-reversing diff. The diff has no visible means of pumping any kind of lube into it - no removable screws, no grease nipples, nothing. At the Autosport 2010 show I asked a Quaife rep what I could or should be doing to service this diff after 6 years of use. The response was "If it's not losing lube do nothing. These units are designed to go many miles without trouble. You'll have to take the whole assembly to pieces to get inside but there's no point". He added that any proprietary grease was OK. So there you have it!

I had nipples (three I think) on mine, but even with a powerful old grease gun, very little could be forced in. I think I had as much and probably more success with the good old sticky finger technique.

Plenty of scope with that one I think biglaugh

Assuming it is like the early Clubsport there should be a cap over one end, if you "slip" that back it will reveal holes.
