Hi all
Have just invested in some custom made ear plugs. ( I've ALWAYS used off the shelf earplugs ) For those of you who do not use any earplugs please take an old blokes advice and start ! The damage to your ears is done NOT by the engine etc but the wind ( nowt to do with beer and curry )going through your helmet.
Price of £91 including, local appointment for "impression taking", full ear infill, with safety cords attached. These do not include earpiece for radios etc but are available.
If you want details please pm me ( getting the hang of this jargon Splitpin )
Obviously not used them in anger yet, but initial fitting is excellent.

Hear, hear !

A lot of us who are BBB Members (now driving open-tops) could have done with that 100% sound advice a few years ago.

Only threw in yet another TLA to get you at it Dave! laugh

Mark's right and he has his own extensive collection of damaged lids to prove he's a Life Member of the prolific BBB. hehe

I think of you almost every day Mark - don't panic - everytime I go past a Machine Mart (which is more days than not) I think Gixermark ......... remember those wheel dollies? ......... another one that never really got bottomed out! wobble

I can see there's some bonding needed if a post I can barely remember has caused that much angst! I humbly apologise for my previous sharp comments.

FFS though, what is it with all the "......" didn't they teach writing at your school? biggrin

So back to the bonding, to mis-quote Pirates of the C', the man who does the insulting buys the man who gets insulted a drink..... oh no there I go.

The good news is that I can actually see me racing this season. Although I have completely cocked up the holiday planning and am on hols for Rockingham. So perhaps Snett will provide the drink-buying bonding opportunity!

Bert
PS just to set expectation, when I say "racing" some may describe it as tooling around at the back of the field!
