Clubsport shift lights

Although the dash display works after switching on the ignition, the shift lights have decided to stop working.
Anyone any ideas? Where does the display pick up the information, is the spark driven? gearbox driven?
As usual, grateful for any help!

Wiring, Wiring, Wiring, most probably in or near the connectors, waggle the wiring to the dash and you may get a response.

Had to replace all the white multiplugs for the dash to get mine working correctly, they do seem pretty nasty.
