Marshy, for a mechanically biased background you wont need a how to!

just keep pulling bits off until the engine is free.

ps no nee to remove the Quaif unit, unless you are going to inspect that as part of the winter layup?

I pulled the motor out of my SR3 winter project last week much easier than the other radicals i have had club/prosport PR6 mainly because there is so much more room in the engine bay, i took lots of photos and wrote down what wire went where etc etc, who's doing the rebuild for you as i need a rebuild as well.

Hi JP

I think im getting Powertec to refreshing the engine as i plan to enter some Clubman events next year, this engine was last rebuilt by Powertec and its been a good un.

All disconnected and ready to lift tomorrow night, as you said quite simple once i had a good look.

Hi Marshy; given above, now's probably not the best time to say what a decent price I thought Radical charge for and in and out if it's being carted next door to be Powertec refreshed. That said, you're a wizard with the spanners whereas I'm not.

dont forget to pay the extra and have it run n on the dyno for you. i have had mine rebuilt twice by Powertec and each time its been good. anyway i get a DYNO graph so know that i can thrash the tits off the engine as if it was going to blow up, it would have happened in their hands

Paul, take my advise and have the cam chain and sprockets exchanged to the "high performance one" with rollers and not the $hitty one that suzuki supply (which they will change as a matter of course)

or you could land up with a box of bits like this

This is the chain upgrade kit.

Here is a link to a cam chain discussion from 3 years ago that might help
