Looks very professional! Is it recording in MPEG2 or 4? What res are the cameras?

Which paddle shift system do you have fitted? Does it have an 'autoblipper' fitted? Who was the driver in the blue lid in the pt 1 video? He seemed to really try and chuck the car into the bends with fairly aggressive steering input, rather than peel it in? Was this inducing understeer at all?

furgus thats a lot of questions.....

Q1 it records in MGP4 as an AVI file and resolution of cameras was 720 x 576
Q2 the car is not mine, but somebody i met at Rock whilst i was doing some camera testing and opinion pole work. it was a nice steering wheel fitted with paddles and autoblipper. this was a new car. second time out. first time was last week at brands and the engine blew up! (gudgeon pin came loose and the piston exit block left) factory put a new lump in it and fixed it.
Q3 the driver in the blue lid was a radical factory driver that accompanied the car (he put it in the kitty litter, but you have to try...)
Q4 i think he was trying to find the level of grip on the slick track with that steering method

i think what impressed me most about the cameras was their ability to handle poor light and still provide a good motion picture shot. and the light was poor!

DT - thanks for the replies!

Good to hear that the big R stood behind their engines.

The video quality is very good for both the light level and the camera resolution. Does the VBox come with dedicated cameras, or do these need to be sourced seperately from RFConcepts or equivalent?

FPS much better than the last camera you had. Assume the compression onto Youtube has fubared the picture quality somewhat.
