Today's SR3 stupid question

Guys got the reverse cable off undone all the bolts to the quaife diff how does the diff come out of the chassis or does the engine need to be out? Lots of twisting the diff always seems to get wedged!!

Extract it backwards and and rotate top over 90 deg to LHS of vehicle it will then come out of rear with oil pump facing upwards

hi jp you caNn definately get the diff out without taking the engine out but it is very tight

Got the diff out but as i needed to take the motor out as well did that first much easier with it out. I will have another stupid question next week....
