New to the board
Discussion
Hi, I'm new to the board. My business partner and I each purchased new SR3s in Nov 2003. The first track day we had the cars out at Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca, fielding a fairly large field of Radicals for the USA.
We're certainly fans of the car, and learning quite a bit. It's our first SR type-car, and it's totally thrilling to drive. It's not just the driving that's different than my 996 Porsche (the aero downforce is a blast!) but the mechanical side of things. With a light owners manual, so many things seem intuitative to the SR old-timers, which is why we started a Radical-Registry: information sharing.
Like I mentioned, we've had them at Laguna, but also Sears Point/Infineon Raceway -- my favorite track by far. Here's a link to some pics: www.radical-registry.com/gallery.html
(disclaimer: it's on our site... we run track days and races in California, along with radical-registry.com).
I'm looking forward to participating on this board, learning tips and tricks from you folks that have much more experience behind the wheel and wrench than us.
