Dario - nice smooth driving in the wet there!

No H&T or throttle blips on some of the downchanges though? Are rads affected a lot by this, or does the light flywheel in the busa engine tend to soak this up?

What tyres were you running in the damp/wet at Spa?

Think the radical manual says heel/toe is required?

Dunc.

I don't heal and toe (to many motorbike crashes in my past means I can't twist my leg/ankle) however I set the car up around this.

I only got the hang of heel & toeing with the Radical fairly recently, but have to say its a definite boon in keeping the car stable when braking really late into corners.

Having had problems with odd brake pedal travel this season, resulting in an inability to heel & toe due to the pedal being too low, really screwing up acurate corner entry's with the car still unsettled from the braking/ gear change phase.

Darren; you'll have got the competition for next year really worried now - SSS (Seven Shades Stage) - "We were worried to hear that he's unlikely to have 22% capacity deficit next time out, now he only goes and tells us he's only just got the hang of it!" eek

Rob; so yet another member of that large part incumbered brotherhood - BBB (Broken Biker Brigade) - how do you mean, set up to suit? Fast 'Idle' part of it or cure-all flatshift? wobble

Thread well and truly hijacked!

ok heal and toe is difficult for me because of a bike accident where i busted my right leg in 7 places (no not 7 parts of the country!) and i lack the ability to rotate the ankle / leg in the correct direction.

i just have to deal with the consequences of the failure / accelerated wear when it occurs...... better than not driving the radical at all!

what do you think of the video quality (even after you tube has screwed it up)

right, thread back on track :-)

very crisp. What format and res are the cameras recording at out of interest?

I thought the driving skills and the video quality were both superb.

General question on 'video' as I'm thinking about fitting one: Do all cameras use the same memory cache type? SD or something else?

fergus, the original resolution is 720 x 480 with 30 frames per second. i am posting a video up on Vimeo which is high quality video and should be near to the original resolution. when its up i'll post a link.

splitpin, i really wish i WAS a good driver. i think I'm ok, but not a racer :-(.

this video used an SDHC card with is a type 2 card class 4 (that's a transfer rate of 4kbps)

i am in the midst of starting a hire business for this type of system - extreme sports junkies ect.

Great vid Dario and fun in the wet at Spa. I can't believe there was a 2CV there too! Mind you, what is going on with your hands? I thought you were going into a bus-driver's shuffle at one stage and that lovely little finger walk thing you do to get your right hand in position again is brill!!

Sorry, couldn't resist, looked nice and smooth. I'm never going to post up any video of me (that's when I actuallt get back in the rad on track). I'll get soooo much stick from people getting their own back!
