Bought a Prosport, few bits needed
Discussion
Good to hear & hope my input helped!
Us two hope to see you two on a TD real soon. Shall we try to fix one up via ROC? Having someone else around in a Radical is always nice and indeed helps particularly on the debut.
On the exhaust, our experience with the Busa SR4 is as long as it says 105dB for the day and the full race one is in good order packing -wise, you'll be fine ............ if it rattles like heck when you shake it (that'll probably be the E Glass having been heated back to lumps of glass), it needs repacking ............. not a difficult job, just thoroughly 'orrible in my opinion .......... but apparently a breeze for others such as CCGT Champ Mr T.
If you're going to invest in a quiet exhaust, as a trackdayer, you'll probably be better off buying a silencer you can repack as and when required, which actually means not a Radical one as they are welded construction - a welded construction optimises sound reduction, but it effectively means chuck it away when it's done. Look at previous threads on this which provide alternative suggestions.
To be honest, we tend to go to tracks & trackdays where there's a decent noise limit ........... which means we use the quiet one perhaps twice a year, so the (old Radical teapot) one I've had for two years now is still fine.

Powerspeed in Kent may be your friends here. They can copy the external size of any existing can and make it repackable, via an end cap held on with allen screws. Worth a call. Very nice s/steel finish as well me again - machine mart
soft loop strap 020123117 £5.74 inc vat
lashing with loop 020120117 £14.94 inc vat
Don't skimp on these as the costs of getting it wrong are too awful to think about...
From a personal point of view, only I strap my car in then there is no one else to blame. ( same with hitching up the trailer )
Just a note - use minmum safe tension on front wheels so as not to mess up the geometry.

welcome to the forum - and on purchasing a great car :-)
i think you are referring to the 'plugs' that insert into the stub axle of the wheels/hubs ?
If so i just gota local guy to lathe the required external diameter required and then weld a solid loop to the end - similar i guess to what guys weld/bolt to trailers/vans as a tie down point.. In effect you get teh same as the £29 article that radical sell... for a fair bit less !!
good luck with it - and enjoy the car..
