Barry, it's just a thought, but it's A Darn Good Thought and one that wholly accords with my own; particularly when extended to include the Clubsport; Boots certainly needs and indeed longs for more competition.

I'm convinced that there's many newbies out there with the will and ability, but I reckon they may well look at the usually one SR4 and three/four Clubsports, then clock that the cars at the front are pushing £50/£60K, then not always running trouble-free and think, nah, simply out of the question. Some of these these guys n gals can effectively sustain the RCC over the future years and indeed some (sorry guys, it's not forever) will eventually challenge the likes of JW, CM, DL, GK, PS etc as the frontrunners.

Let's hope something can be done soon and well before these guys n gals get frustrated and eventually wander off into other things, meaning other makes, tin tops etc etc.
