Hi,

The car I have just recently bought is fitted with a PI system 1 datalogger however the previous owner did not use this equipment or have the instruction manual. I have tried searching the PI website however I have failed to find any information on this particular system.

My question is does anybody have an instruction manual I could buy/ borrow from them so that I could copy it for my own personal use?

The other alternative is I have a Stack Steering wheel ST8600M which I bought for a previous car and never fitted. Can I fit this and connect it up to a datalogger which I can then overlay with video. Has anybody done this before?

I suppose there are good and bad point to each of the above but if you feel any of your previous experiences with either equipment is worthwhile knowing please let me know

Thanks in advance

Ross

ps what does pm me mean?
It means "private message", make sure you are logged onto Pistonheads yourself, get yourself to a forum page like the one you're on right now, then click on the name of the person down the left, that will bring up their profile. Then simply click on the link which says "email me" to send a private message to him/her [mostly him on this forum ;-)].

Also it's best not to post your email address or fax number on public forums, you can end up with a lotta lotta spam

None of that is very interesting compared to working out how to overlay datalogging info onto video, but hope it helps a little, cheers Geoff
