I'll do it to round the year off on a fun note. Unlikely to be able to test on Friday though which is a shame. I understand there are 9 or so entries as at last Fri.

9! is that all......where is everyone. I know its a fair drag but its easy to get to (all main roads) and it is a bloody fantastic circuit to drive

9 looks to be a good grid at the moment; how many in OSS, how many in BESCR ............. not the combination I hope.

Take the point about it being an excellent venue, but it's been set up to be very time hungry; BESCR and OSS races are both split across the two days, sign on first thing Saturday or the night before. That's almost an effective four days of a lot of people's lives and that's definitely not on for most in these times - it also adds up to an awful lot of associated cost money - if you can't afford to save them by buying a motorhome! Most people can't justify/sell near on half a week away on a hobby. Simple as that.

Good God man! This is not a hobby!

At least it's a passion

At most an obsession

Stamp collecting is a hobby FFS!

4 days off !! ?

drive through the night man - like us poor paddies have to do when we come over... you think a 4-6 hour drive to anglesey is a lot ? try a 2 hour drive to a ferry, 1 hour wait/load, plus 2 hour ferry (at £300) plus a 4-6+ hour drive to most UK circuits.. Plus the asociated costs/hassle.......

anyway - i thought racing was/is life ?? anything before or after is just waiting... or something to that effect :-)

BESCR and OSS are on different grids. NOT SHARED.

BESCR three races over two days....bit hard to squeeze that and qually into one day unless you are a BTCC team!?

Hope to see any and all of you guys up there over the weekend.

Entries are drifting in as ever.

Tim, do I assume you are 'with gearbox' and therefore entering?

JP

Hi JP - unfortunately not.....

I was hoping to have a selector fork changed when I got the dreaded call from Ted at Powertech:
Out of the 10 cogs in the gearbox - 9 are knackered! In addition the output shaft is bent and there
are lots of bits of metal at the bottom of the casing! Good job!

So it looks like the spare 1200 is going to them for a rake of expensive modifications and might be
installed ready for Snetterton!

Hope you all have a great weekend - wish I was there.

So sorry I aired my thoughts.

As some of you apparently know it all for everyone else and/or are superman, perhaps you can tell me why the open topped sportscar grids are so piss poor vitually everywhere except RCC. Are all of you there or somehwere else this coming weekend?

I know the BESCR & OSS Grids are not shared and that entries to the former are 'drifting in'; what does that mean FFS as Mr T put it. HOW MANY?

Erm? I was answering someone's question.

As for grid numbers....I can't tell you cos I'm not in the office and also the figure will NO DOUBT change up or down before Friday evening (a years experience of running meetings has taught me that already). As was already stated somewhere on this thread.....its was 9 some days ago. They do DRIFT IN over the last few days before a meeting....and others cancel or can't make it based on last minute issues.

What on earth is your problem?

You're the one with the problem, like assigning my question to Rob and your reply to me as mine.

I simply asked whether it was 9 in BESCR, not 9 by someone adding together the separate BESCR and OSS Entries together.

I in fact wish BESCR well, but you guys are effing masters at 'How To Lose Friends & Alienate People'.
